Positive training is teaching dogs what you want the dog to do,  and not punishing a dog for unwanted behavior.   Positive training makes dogs more confident and builds a strong bond between dog and person.

Let’s look at a few examples.  Your new puppy naturally will jump on you asking for attention.   We ignore the jumping up and reward the puppy when all four feet are on the ground.   Teaching your puppy to walk on leash, we reward the puppy for not pulling as opposed to jerking on the leash.

Our training consists of only using positive reinforcement.  Positive reinforcement can be treats, a toy or even a pat on the chest all things that your new puppy loves.  Your new puppy will respond better with lots of love.

Breeders have more opportunity to make a impact on a puppy’s personality than anyone else ever will.  It’s been proven that what your puppy learns between 3 weeks and 16 weeks old imprints on the puppy.   When selecting a breeder for your new puppy,  it’s important to ask about how your puppy has been raised. https://www.magnoliaaustralianlabradoodles.com/magnolia-dog-training/
